About
The Faculty of Fundamentals of Religion and Advocacy of Menoufia was founded by Al-Azhar University under Ministerial Decree No. 28 of 1978, under the reign of Sheikh Ibrahim Al-Desouki, may God have mercy on him, the Egyptian Ministry of Awqaf. The College was opened in its first year as a faculty of invitation only and offered to thirty nine students, and in the second year only forty-six students. This led Professor Mahmoud Mazroutha, the supervisor of the faculty, to present his opinion to Prof. Dr. Barakat Dweidar, The founder and dean of the Faculty of Dawa in Tanta then, and agreed their two theories on a single solution to this problem is to convert the college from the Faculty of Da'wa to the Faculty of the fundamentals of religion and da'wa, and wrote a memorandum signed by the Dean to the University President, Of the deans of the competent colleges to give an opinion, and a Commission rate this amendment, with the change of curriculum and sections in line with the new amendment to the College. The study began in a small wing of the secondary religious institute building in Shebin El Koum, with a small number of students. The college was completed in 1987
